Membership questions

Before you sign up

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. Pay quarterly for 5% extra by bank transfer or POS. If a payment is more than two weeks late, the plan pauses until it's settled.

What if we hardly get sick this year?

Good news all round. Your yearly check-ups and lab tests are still included, and most families find those alone cover a good part of the fee.

Can we change plans when the family grows?

Any time. Move up mid-year and you pay only the difference for the months that are left.

Is membership the same as an HMO?

No. It covers care at Birch Meadow only, not hospital admission or surgery. Many families keep an HMO for big hospital bills and use membership for everyday care.

Who counts as family?

Anyone living in your household: children, parents, grandparents, even a live-in nanny. Each person gets their own card and medical record.
